Tucson native becomes new Therapeutic Riding of Tucson executive director

Lesley Rich first saw the healing during Girl Scout summer camp at TROT

Lesley Rich has joined the team at Therapeutic Riding of Tuscon (TROT) as the new executive director.

Rich is coming from a diverse background including service in AmeriCorps, the Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, and the Tucson Audubon Society.

"From the first time I came to TROT, almost ten years ago to facilitate Girl Scout camp, I saw the magic and the power of the work between humans and horses. The safe and enriching space the horses, staff, and volunteers at TROT create, allow for all participants to find their power and build tremendous confidence. I could not be more excited to join TROT as the Executive Director" said Rich.

Rich attended The University of Arizona and has been dedicated to human services since graduating.

Rich is passionate about getting outdoors and loves wandering in nature, usually alongside her two dogs.  She is an avid equestrian and enjoys spending time with her horse, Finn.

Rich takes the reins at TROT on January 7, 2019.
