Simon says stop by Playworks Colorado’s fundraiser this Thursday!
Check your dress shoes at the door for this unique “Fun”draiser to benefit non-profit’s mission of using play to create kinder kids

Head back to the best parts of grade school this Thursday at the Annual Playworks Soiree for Play event featuring some of your favorite childhood games, a live auction, and dessert!
This year’s Soiree for Play theme is kindness. Come watch as 4th- and 5th-grade Junior Coaches Ja’Khia Randolf and Jaden Thompson are honored for their work, along with Community Champion Stephanie Syner from Denver Health and Playworks Principal Jeff Johnson from Sedalia Elementary! There will also be a live and silent auction with exciting prizes.
But here’s the catch: no dress shoes are allowed! This is a sneakers-only soiree!
“So many of our events encourage adults to let their inner kid come out and play, which makes our events so much more fun. We’ve played Rock Paper Scissors in the past and year we get to play Simon Says,” said Playworks Colorado Executive Director Andrea Woolley. “The continued support we get from parents, schools, volunteers and local business allows us to fund our innovative programming each day.”
Playworks helps influence the next generation of kinder individuals through new ways to use play as an educator. Playworks is making a difference by turning the playground into “the other classroom,” where students learn teamwork, conflict resolution skills, leadership, and empathy – all while having fun and being kind.

Last year alone, Playworks Colorado served 55,000 kids across the state with their programming to improve social, emotional and physical health for every kid in Colorado. By 2025 their goal is to help at least 200,000 kids experience safe and healthy play every day. 100% of funds raised by this event directly support Playworks Colorado and its programs.
