Overnight explosions in Black Hawk for iBOT movie shoot
City of Black Hawk plays host to film crew for new on-line production
Explosions lit up the sky last night in Black Hawk where the final scenes of the movie iBOT is being shot by Hungry Panda Productions, Inc.
The film is based in the "near future" when iBOTS are assisting humans' every need. One iBOT is then framed for a murder and is out to prove its innocence. Last night around midnight the film crew shot a scene using pyrotechnics to blow up a car. Black Hawk Fire Department was on the scene to ensure the safety of the production team and put out the flames. The 75-minute production is being shot in Black Hawk, Basalt and in Los Angeles. It is expected to be released in early summer.
